Hey everyone,

Not exactly a sync solution, but if you just want to quickly duplicate an Address Book to a new mac, you can directly copy the folder at user/Library/Application Support/Address Book and overwrite it on the other machine. Of course, won’t work if you want to combine two address books – you’d have to manually trawl through the /metadata subfolder which defeats the whole purpose. But anyhoo, just in case it helps someone.

What I really hate about Ruby on Rails is all the hype. Ho, it is so simple to write a CRUD application! You fucking morons. How hard is it really to write a CRUD app in any decent framework that is not ROR. You have to be an idiot to find it in hard in Java or .NET. Go and suck a lemon you Ruby loving assholes.

I'm going to join the few voices here, and say Ruby and Rails suck a fat one. Went in with an open mind (I program in a lot of languages and frameworks), spent a year with a 100% Ruby on Rails only company, hated it with a passion. It's called "rails" for a reason - you can only go ONE direction.

Actually your complaints to apply to an induction stovetop(like the one alton is marketing) at all. Its a completely new technology that works on a totaly difrent principle than a normal electric and it heats up really fast i can boil a gallon of water in 4 minutes on mine. And the temp change is as rapid as with gas and it has the ability to rgulate end heat instead of produced heat for much more even heat aplication. And i have a much cheaper one the altons GE super expensive model.
