Google Earth I think the reason it’s not a concurrent release is two-fold: First, the 3D API (OpenGL) is different from what’s in Windows. (I’m pretty sure.) Second, there are very few GPS receivers that are Mac compatible, and I bet having to write drivers for them is a real pain in the ass..
