I just read this great post over at The Poor Man. In it, he states that the Republican ideologies (theocratic, corporatist and racist) are not long for this world, because they rely on the fact that people are spread out. In it he also links to this post elsewhere that shows the problem when you have suburbanites designing solutions to suburbs and this post over at Sadly, No! that warns against making insane people your party’s base. Three great posts, all recommended reading.
When all you know is suburbs, every solution begins to look like a suburb.
