Dean Speaks the Truth!
Howard laid the smack down on Wolf Blitzer on Late Edition yesterday. Crooks and Liars has the video and transcript, but the gist of it was: No Democrat got money from Jack “Me” Abramoff. Yeah, a couple of them got money from the tribes, but they’re on the Indian Affairs committee, so tribes sending them money isn’t exactly a strange occurence, and isn’t directly linked to the nasty dealings that Abramoff was involved in.
Also, Abramoff and his wife donated personal money only to the Republicans. Why would he give to the Democrats? They’re not even in power.
Hopefully this teaches Blitzy that you can’t believe everything Ken Mehlman focus group tests.
