If you’re running SETI@home on your Mac, definitely check out check this out. I went from taking five and a half hours per result to just under 2 from my 1.5Ghz Powerbook G4. My Sawtooth G4/400 can churn out results in about three hours, which is how long it takes the 2.5Ghz Pentium 4 in my work machine to do the same thing.
